Half-life Alyx stuttering on Quest 2 Link. Discussion. 3060ti 8gb - 3600x - 16gb Ram. HI I'm playing Alyx with Link and so far it's been running well, but not perfect. I'm running it at 80hz. It seems like the "adaptive resolution scaling" keeps the game running steady at 80fps whether the graphics settings are high or ultra. So, I've been looking for a solution to this problem, and I've tried a few things. If I'm standing still in the game, everything runs smoothly at a good framerate. However, it's when I move and turn my head, objects and enemies sort of stutter and don't move smoothly. The framerate isn't dropping, same for the frame timing, everything just looks jittery. I don't know how to rollback updates on alyx Your gpu is fine for alyx, I played it when it came out on an oculus rift and a 1070! You need to plug your PC into the router, and you need to be near the router with your Quest 3. Steamlink should be OK, but I use Virtual Desktop and it’s great too. I checked fpsVR and I was definitely hitting the frame times and 120fps in the game… but it was obvious to my eyes that it was reprojecting.
